There are weddings where, as photographers, you sense that you can simply let go. Vanja and Thomas gave us exactly that, and we took it with both hands. The Alte Schule in Carinthia was not a building from another era on this August day, but the perfect setting for two people who know how to live.

The morning belonged to anticipation. Vanja prepared with the feeling that this day was hers, and Thomas brought exactly the energy that would carry the whole day. Relaxed, present, with a laugh that is contagious. Those who know him are aware that he is an exceptionally talented photographer himself. That he and Vanja chose us to capture their day means more to us than we can say in a few words.

The ceremony carried that same tone forward. Not a single moment felt staged, not a single glance rehearsed. What became visible between the two of them was real, and the guests felt it. The atmosphere in the room was warm and full, carried by genuine emotion and the occasional laugh that simply could not be held back.

At the reception, the energy shifted up another level. Dancing, laughing, celebrating. And then the cake moment, which became a small legend of the day. We will not reveal exactly what happened, but the images speak for themselves.

At the end of the evening, when the light grows soft and the energy of the day settles, what remained was the feeling that Vanja and Thomas got exactly what they wanted: a day that felt like them. For us, this wedding remains one of the most beautiful gifts of trust we have ever received.
